I had the privilege to preach at Bible Christian Church in Garden City, Kansas on July 2, 2023. Being given the freedom to choose the topic or text, I thought it might be time to preach about a topic I’ve been praying and thinking through for the years since the COVID-19 pandemic. Why do we go to church? Every Sunday we gather together and meet in a building for hours, but really what are we there for?
